I have always tried to be a good person, always taking a step ahead, always thinking of how the other person might feel. In the process, I have let the people around me take advantage of me.
I have always tried to keep my mouth shut, always weighing my words, always considering how the other person might accept it. In the end, the opportunity to be understood slipped away.
I have suffered in silence. But there is no one to blame but I.
